Guidelines

If you would like to step back in time and join our group as a character from the beloved ROAD TO AVONLEA series, simply tweet to us on our main administrative Twitter page at @RoadToAvonleaRP. If you have extensive knowledge of the series and can role play on a regular basis, we would love to have you in our group if you would like to join!


To our role players:

1. Respect for fellow role players is imperative! The only drama between players and characters that should be taking place is that that is found within the series!

2. Keep your profile bio and profile photo up to date. Feel free to update your pictures regularly as we move from episode to episode.

3. As much as possible, please maintain decent grammar and spelling to the best of your ability.

4. Our group regularly role plays with our sister group @AOGG_Roleplay. Feel free to follow and role play with them also. But this is not a requirement to join our group.

5. Role playing on a regular basis is a must. Constant role playing is not necessary. But to keep the adventures going smoothly, we strongly encourage that our members role play on a regular basis.

6. Creativity is encouraged. Feel free to conduct miscellaneous scenes between characters that did not occur in the episodes. But please consult administration before applying any drastic change to storylines. For our group strives to maintain as close of a similarity to our beloved Road To Avonlea as it was originally written.

7. Please follow and keep track of tweets from our administrative account @RoadToAvonleaRP.

8. Please be sure that you DM us your account password(s) so that we can keep a secure track of everyone's accounts. This will make it far more easier to give the account to a new role player in case you have need to leave our group. If you operate a character account that was given to you, please inform administration if you choose to change your password.

9. Players are welcome to play more than one character within reason.

10. Keep all tweets related only to Avonlea and the time period and setting thereof.

11. Original Characters are now being accepted. Please contact administration before proceeding any further with your storyline ideas.

12. Characters should only communicate with their fellow characters on Twitter. Unlike character portrayals, role players are living out a characters adventures instead of simply portraying the character.

13. Although this is optional, feel free to use screen captures and photos of scenes from the episodes to accompany your tweets. This will add the recollection of the moment and will help us to even more vividly relive that moment. Some photos are provided for you under "Current Season Photos" for your use on Twitter.
